Yesterday 17 Apr 2018 I attempted to gather the photos of the Blitz Hangar but as the VP of the museum wasn’t there I was unable to but was able to retrieve them today and find out a little more information about the hangar itself and its current use. After getting home last night I worked further on the Peachy page of the Scalar and added a lot more information about not only the time of aircraft that Peach was but the story behind the naming of Captain Haver’s B-29 and the nose art on it. I plan to continue work on that page and add information about the last surviving crew member of Peachy that came to visit the aircraft once they had completed the restoration of the B-29 on display at the museum while they were working on the nose art. There were newspaper articles about his visit to the museum from the Chieftain on display and those will be included on the page itself. I plan on completing the Blitz Hangar page and beginning work on the interaction that the base and Pueblo had with each other and how the base was actually a help to Pueblo during its existence.
